Relinquishment ReportsA licensee can relinquish a licence or surrender acreage from a production licence at any time. The licensee must send the NSTA a Relinquishment Report within three months of the licence being relinquished. This report should contain a full summary of the work carried out on the Licence, including descriptions of any newly acquired seismic and reprocessed data, any studies and the results from these, and an account of the prospectivity for the relinquished area.
