Part Two: Building Codes details in-depth the changes, updates, and enforcement of the building codes and land maintenance specifications enforced by the City of Colorado Springs to ensure that residences are ignition-resistant.Part Three: Sharing the Responsibility explains how the city, the fire department, and the citizens of Colorado Springs share the responsibility of wildfire mitigation, through education, available and updated information, and programs such as the neighborhood chipping program.Part Four: A Resilient Community describes the effects of Colorado Springs' mitigation efforts and provides resources for communities looking for more information about becoming fire-adapted.
