This is a test complete GTFS bundle with proposed enhancements to be added in June 2019:


1. trips.txt - trip\_IDs will now match real-time GTFS trip\_IDs for Sydney Trains, NSW Trains, Buses, and Inner West and  

Newcastle Light Rail. Also new fields "route\_direction", "trip\_note" and "bikes\_allowed" have been added
2. routes.txt - new field "exact\_times" added to determine whether a route is a frequency based service. In this sample  

routes L1, NLR, and B1 are flagged exact\_times = 0 to indicate they are "turn up and go" services that run to headway
3. notes.txt - now included in the bundle
4. stop\_times.txt - new fields "timepoint" and "stop\_note" added

This is a sample export of the Complete GTFS bundle with parent stops included for all modes.  

Individual stops may be arranged into Stop Groups, with an associated unique identifier called a Stop Group Global ID. For example a station like Central would be a Parent Stop Group, with individual stops; platforms, bus stops, and light rail stops sharing the same Parent Stop Group. The unique identifier for the Stop Group can be a number, or contain a letter eg G2135210.

Test export of Sydney Trains GTFS with occupancies.txt added. GTFS-Occupancies is a proposed extension to the GTFS specification: [http://bit.ly/gtfs-occupancies](http://bit.ly/gtfs-occupancies). This implementation uses an algorithm to predict occupancy levels for trips at each stop for the next 2 weeks.  

Proposed production release is 23 October 2021.
