This product provides information on the actual evapotranspiration (ET) on a coarse scale for the entire African Horn on the daily scale. The estimates are based on data from the Meteosat Second Generation SEVIRI sensor as well as some ancillary meteorological data. The ET estimates are produced by the Land Surface Analysis – Satellite Application Facility (LSA SAF) hosted at the Portuguese Met-service.
