Overview

The Current or Potential Electrode Selector (COPES) was built to help automate earth resistivity measurements. It provides convenient means to switch electrodes in an array between the excitation current source and the potential measuring equipment. Probe configurations may be selected manually or by computer control to make measurements with various effective depth of penetration and resolution.
