Ips typographus was reared in climate chambers at constant temperatures of 12, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 33°C. Developmental times from egg to teneral beetle stages and daily oviposition of females from preoviposition phase to their death were recorded. From these data life tables were computed and the data were used for modelling.
